The Mission

While browsing the MNF-I homepage I found something that I think everyone would be interested to know. This is why we're here. This is our mission.

The MNF-I mission:

In partnership with the Iraqi Government, MNF-I progressively transitions the counterinsurgency campaign to the Iraqi Government and Iraqi Security Forces, while aggressively executing counterinsurgency operations to create a security environment that permits the completion of the United Nations Security Council Resolution 1546 process and sustainment of political and economic development.
