B36 News - 10 July 2006
Let me set this one up: In 1987 Peter Jennings and Mike Wallace participated in a debate about whether or not they would warn American troops of an impending ambush. The situation was framed in the hypothetical war between the North and South Kosanese. I won't ruin it for you, but the ending is ... great.
And now, on with the news! (Google Earth file)
CENTCOM
The ISF showed they increasing ability when they raided two seperate objectives and then reacted to three other objectives that were identified as a result of intel acquired on the previous two. This shows an impressive level of ability on the part of this fledgling force.

This is an example of the positive work that we're doing over here. Several miles from where we gave Zarqawi his 500lb lobotomy, we now have a new well to provide 4000 people in the town of Hibhib with water.Sorry, no body counts or car bombs here.
CENTCOM
After completing a mission in which they successfully captured IED materials and the terrorists who use them, LT Nasir of the Iraqi Army had the following to say,“Any day that we get rid of roadside bomb materials and the cowards that build and put them on the road is a blessed day,” said Lt. Nasir, platoon leader, Company C, 5/4/6 IA. “We are happy to be working with the Soldiers from Troop B, 1-10 Cav., to help the innocent people.”
This is an example of the kind of men that we're training up over here.
