Ask A Troop Sunday

I've decided to give myself a break from B36 News on Sundays and I'll replace it with placing an open call for questions/comments/rants/etc. For those of you who resist the temptation to blab about how horrible we Americans are, here's your chance.
Ask A Troop Sunday will not be moderated or edited. This is where you can send me a question, make a statement, or whatever your heart desires. I'll do my best to fully answer any questions asked, but I won't violate OPSEC so if I tapdance around the answer don't be suprised.
Fire away!

I have seen reporting of the IA purchacing wheeled APCs (Otokar/DZIK3/Cougar) and LTG Dempsey has briefed about IA getting HMMWVs and mortars.
How well equipped is the IA (and INP) in your area? How good are they? Pros and cons...
I like that graphic "Idiocy (X'd over) Do Not Feed the Trolls).
That brings up a general blogger question: How to handle those folks.
The ones that are just vile and disruptive I ban and delete. But have wasted many hours responding to some others.
They do serve a purpose by illustrating how corrupted the political views of their kind have become.
Dj Elliott,
The IA that I've come across range from being armed with up-armored trucks with RPK machine guns mounted in the back to blue & white SUVs with flashing lights on top to the Iraqi spec ops guys armed with the same stuff you'd see our guys with. The stuff that we just give to them isn't useless junk that we've worn out. Often times as a unit gets their gear upgraded they give their old, but still very functional, stuff to the ISF. I haven't seen them in action first hand, but all reports I read and hear speak very highly of them. I'll try and snap a few pictures of the ISF in my area for ya.
Mike,
What I do is if a person is just blabbering off at the mouth and being an idiot, I'll get rid of them and not give it a second thought. No argument, no discussion, just gone. However, if a person presents a well thought out and civil point of view or opinion, I'm very willing to engage this person in a debate. Doing so forces me to defend, review, refine, or abandon my perceptions so in all cases, if the conversation is civil and rational, theoretical debate is a good thing.
I asked this question in another post but apparently you were too busy to answer it and I can understand that.
my question was; what is the scuttlebutt there in regards to the actions of the Isrealis now? and how will this affect what is happening there in Iraq?
The questions were asked in consideration of Omar's comments over in the blog "Iraq the model".
oh, one more question in regards to the survey you posted. I checked out your source and got to wondering; how does 76% add up to 2/3 which was stated in the first paragraph?
Griper,
I haven't really heard much talk about Isreal over here. The talk I do hear is very sympathetic towards Isreal. Those troops that do talk about it tend to admire Isreal's tenacity in recovering her kidnapped Soldiers. They also wish that more Americans were as dedicated to beating terrorists as most Isrealies are.
Also, good catch on the source of the survey. I'm not sure how they interpreted 76% to be two-thirds, last time I checked that was closer to three-quarters. I guess unlike the military, you don't need a high school education to be a reporter.
No question, just a comment. I was away for the weekend and just catching up. Hope you are staying safe and I wanted to let you know how much I enjoy reading your posts. Keep up the great work and we are very proud of you all!
